The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, represents a once in a generation Federal investment in clean energy, infrastructure, environmental mitigation, and community access for states, localities, and companies, among other funding recipients. Justice40, The White House initiative to ensure equity for disadvantaged communities in the clean energy transition, applies to the IIJA, among other funding programs. A key component of successful application for this funding is the Community Benefits Plan, which accounts for 20% of the score of applications.
